At G&E we believe luxury is created through craftsmanship, through the thoughtfulness you put into your products and so we do everything by hand and with a lot of love. All products are made by us in our Wanaka atelier. Our candles are not mass-produced, we hand pour in small batches and to order, so your candles are always fresh and waste is reduced. We choose to work with natural soy wax because it is chemical free, sustainable, has excellent fragrance loading and burn times. Our wicks are all made from cotton and lead free.
We love the alchemy of creating fragrances for our range and believe that fragrance knows no gender, it is about blending oils to come up with something elegant, lush, adventurous and a little intriguing, so G&E customers can swathe their homes in a fragrance that suits their mood and personal style.
Our signature packaging of hand wrapping the candles in our botanical paper wrappings, is rather labour intensive, but we feel well worth the effort.
We love to encourage recycling & reusing, as soy wax is easily cleaned out of glassware with hot soapy water. Both our medium and large glasses are perfect for drinking glasses, our small candles make lovely tea light holders and our cute tea lights are in a clear polycarbonate cup that is a number 7 plastic, which can be recycled, just remove the wick stem first.
Tips on soy
While we prefer not to colour our wax with dye (other than black), some oils, in particular vanilla, will add a natural tint to the wax that will darken with exposure to sunlight. Soy wax has a low melt point, so we recommend candles are not displayed or stored in direct sunlight or in hot rooms for long periods of time, as they may sweat and discolour.
The Deluxe Range of soy candles celebrates our love for craftsmanship and understated luxury, with a unique handcrafted steel vessel with a brushed dark patina. The Deluxe Range fragrances are more complex and a little darker than the Classic Range and are packaged in our signature floral paper wrapped box.

WITH OUR THANKS: For orders paid on time, you will receive a complimentary candle to burn in store with your next order. We also offer you our extra-large candle at a special wholesale price of NZD20, so that you can choose to burn these in store to help promote the candles.
FRAGRANCE SAMPLES: Prior to your first order, we can send you a fragrance sample pack to assist you to select the fragrances you would like to stock. There is a one off fee of NZD100 for this, but this will be reimbursed against your first order.
ANY INSTRUCTION BY EMAIL, PHONE OR THE WEBSITE CONTACT FORM, RECEIVED BY GEORGE & EDI LTD FROM A BUYER FOR THE SUPPLY OF CANDLES AND HOME FRAGRANCES, SHALL CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT BELOW. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IS SHOWN BY THE BUYER SIGNING AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS DOCUMENT, THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE DEFINITIVE AND BINDING.
DISPATCH DATES:
ALL ORDERS RECEIVED BY 5PM ON A FRIDAY WILL GO INTO THE FOLLOWING WEEKS’ PRODUCTION SCHEDULE. PLEASE ALLOW 7-10 WORKING DAYS FROM THE DATE OF YOUR ORDER, FOR IT TO BE DISPATCHED. WE MAKE THE CANDLES TO ORDER, THIS ENSURES THAT YOUR STOCK IS ALWAYS FRESH AND OUR CUSTOMERS RECEIVE THE BEST QUALITY PRODUCT. WE WILL ADVISE BY EMAIL IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES TO THESE TIMEFRAMES.
PRICES:
THE PRICES CHARGED WILL BE GEORGE & EDI LTD CURRENT WHOLESALE PRICES AS LISTED ABOVE PLUS GST – ANY CHANGES TO THESE PRICES WILL BE NOTIFIED IN WRITING BY EMAIL.
ANY ADDITIONAL “ONE-OFF” COSTS FOR SPECIAL ADDITIONS OR OUTSIDE THE NORMAL REQUIREMENTS WILL BE DISCUSSED PRIOR TO AN ORDER BEING AGREED AND GOING INTO PRODUCTION.
IF AN ORDER IS PRODUCED AND READY FOR DISPATCH, BUT THE BUYER CHOOSES NOT TO PAY OR TO SUDDENLY CANCEL THE ORDER WITHOUT REASONABLE NOTICE, GEORGE & EDI LTD RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK COMPENSATION FOR ANY LOSS INCURRED BY THE CANCELLED ORDER.
THE COST FOR FREIGHT IS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY PRICES LISTED AND WILL BE QUOTED ON THE INVOICE FOR PAYMENT. IF THE ACTUAL COST FOR FREIGHT IS MORE THAN THE PRICE QUOTED ON THE INVOICE, THE BUYER AGREES TO PAY GEORGE & EDI LTD FOR THE DIFFERENCE.
MINIMUM ORDER:
OUR MINIMUM ORDER IS NZD250.00 (EXCLUDING GST AND FREIGHT) PER ORDER.
PAYMENT:
UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED TO BY GEORGE & EDI LTD, PAYMENT IS REQUIRED ON/PRIOR TO THE DELIVERY OF ANY GOODS. THE AMOUNT TO BE PAID WILL BE SET OUT ON AN INVOICE AND WILL INCLUDE GST AND A QUOTE FOR FREIGHT AND ANY AGREED ONE OFF COSTS.
USE OF IMAGES:
APPROVAL MUST BE GIVEN BY GEORGE & EDI LTD BEFORE ANY IMAGES OF OUR PRODUCTS OR BRANDING CAN BE TRANSFERRED / USED ON A SITE OTHER THAN YOUR BUSINESS FACEBOOK AND WEBSITE TO PROMOTE THE SALE OF OUR PRODUCTS.
TERMINATION:
GEORGE & EDI LTD HAS THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE ANY ARRANGEMENT TO SUPPLY CANDLES AND WILL PROVIDE WRITTEN NOTIFICATION OF THIS. IF THE BUYER BREACHES ANY OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS GEORGE & EDI LTD HAS THE RIGHT TO PASS ON ANY REASONABLE COSTS INCURRED BY THE BREACH AND IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER SUFFERED BY THE BUYER AS A RESULT OF ANY BREACH OF THESE OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
